What is a Cosmetic Dentistry?
“Cosmetic Dentistry” is a term that is used to describe the use of dental procedures and techniques to improve the appearance of one’s teeth, smile and face. The focus of any Cosmetic Dental Plan is to alter the teeth in shape, size, color or placement in order to make your smile more pleasing.

Teeth Whitening
Dental bleaching can be used to correct tooth discoloration caused by aging, staining or chemical damage to teeth. Using the latest in bleaching technology, Pure Dental offers several whitening options for creating a beautiful “brilliant” smile.

Invisalign®
Invisalign® takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners created for you and only you. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements our Dentists plan out for you. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You just pop in a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks, until your treatment is complete. You’ll achieve a great smile with little interference in your daily life. The best part about the whole process is that most people won’t even know you’re straightening your teeth. Receive a free deep bleaching when you complete your Invisalign® treatment.

Porcelain Veneers
When teeth are significantly misaligned, protruding or have existing bonding, the tooth will need to be reshaped prior to placement of a porcelain facing. Novacaine is traditionally used and the tooth is reshaped, a temporary veneer is made, and our dental laboratory fabricates a beautiful porcelain shell that is bonded to the tooth. These shells can be made of any shade.

Crown Lengthening – Correcting Gummy Smile
Do you think your teeth look too small? Do you see more gums than you’d like to when you smile? If you answered yes to these questions, you may be a good candidate for cosmetic crown lengthening.

Bonding
Bonding can be used to change the shape and color of teeth as well as to close unattractive spaces. It can also be used to repair chipped or broken teeth or even to cover up unsightly stains.

Tooth Contouring & Reshaping
Many patients are interested in seeing immediate, visible changes to their smiles in the least invasive way possible. With enamel recontouring, the dentists at Pure Dental can reshape your teeth in a relatively simple cosmetic dental procedure that can be performed in one office visit. Enamel recontouring is a procedure to alter the length, shape, or position of your teeth. With enamel recontouring, we can smooth out any cracks or chips in your teeth, make your teeth more symmetrical, and correct minor tooth overlapping.
